Gleb Orlov

Born in Yalta and raised in Kaliningrad. After graduating from the Baltic State Academy, he immediately embarked on his career in television. In 1996 he moved to Moscow and two years later joined the MTV Russia team as the Head of Promotion Department, then in 2004, he resigned as MTV Russia Creative Director. Working mostly on commercials since 2000, Gleb was focusing on the direction of adverts and became one of the most sought after directors in Russia.“Our Russia. Fateful Eggs,” his debut feature-length film appeared in 2010, and became the biggest money making film of that year. Released in 2014, his second film “Poddubniy” received great reviews. The film follows the dramatic life of Ivan Poddubniy, a legendary Soviet wrestler. He also continues to work on commercials with both passion and commitment.
