Arghaël

Born in Paris, Arghaël developped an early passion for cinema and visual arts, which led him to study film and art history in Paris. After spending 2 years in New York to hone his skills, Arghaël was hired by Duboi, one of the leading Visual Effects companies in Europe at the time (Alien, The City of the lost Children, Delicatessen, Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain). His editing work on music videos and commercials rapidly won him recognition among his peers, and he started directing commercials where light held a significant role. Soon, prestigious clients such as Dior, Cartier, Rolex and international beauty brands trusted his director’s vision. Arghaël’s film for Lanvin, capturing the world of its renowned artistic director Alber Elbaz, proved an artistic turning point after its screening for the New-York Fashion Awards (CFDA). His career was launched in the USA, Europe and Asia with commercials reflecting his love for the demanding world of Luxury and Beauty. Arghaël’s aesthetics are clearly elegant yet sensuous, while his organic approach is palpable through bold imagery. Combined with a sharp sense for storytelling, his films are emotional journeys and universal stories to be shared.
